Aloha Boardies
If I hadn't skydived on my 50th birthday I would say that the earthquake was the most terrifying moment of my life. I live on the 34th floor of a condo and the entire building swayed about 2 feet. Then it took time to stop swaying. I had to hold on to my bed to keep from falling over. I praying the entire time blessing the building. I didn't have any water or power until 11 at night.
But thank GOD we're all okay. I thank you for your emails and prayers, Jane Lousie and Lecia and all, thank you for praying for me, I was very frightened.
love always

Oh, ACK, Rose !!!
I saw a map of where the earthquake hit, and I assumed you were far enough away not to be affected.
I'm glad (and grateful) that you're safe and your home is undamaged. (And don't worry -- a little Miss Clairol will cover up that new gray hair very nicely .....)

oh, rose! now that sounds scary. glad you are okay though. it woke me up and i thought i was experiencing a haunting...lol! then quicker than that, i realized what was happening. i went into work today and found dust from the ceiling everywhere. and product fallen off of shelves. i can't imagine what it would have been like if that thing hit closer to oahu. yes, thank God we are all okay.
