Hey Kat
My friend Tara, around your age, really cool woman, is looking for a knitting circle. She went to one and the peeps were unfriendly, unwelcoming and "old"; whatever that is.
So I thought of you and was wondering if you are still knitting and if you can hook my friend up.
Let me know....
Love you and praying you are well and happy. PS How's the blood pressure?

Aloha Rose-
There is one main "stitch 'n bitch" here on the island and the group is called Aloha Knitters. Not sure where Tara visited but this group has been around for over five years and there are many ages from youngsters to hipsters to older ladies. They meet once a week at several different locations depending on where the knitter may live. I rarely am able to attend the meetings now because of work, but it is the group that I used to help run. They are a great bunch of ladies with a ton of fiber talent for all levels! We even have a published knitter in our midst.
Here is a link to the main group site:

Tara will have to join and be approved to get into the group. Once there she will be able to be updated on meetings and ask questions, all sorts of knitting fun!
And if she hasn't joined the online knitting community, Ravelry, she should! We have a group there, too...

I am okay. Trying to regain some energy with some herbal remedies. Funny you ask about my BP, I haven't checked in with a doc recently and not taking meds as the Rx ran out. Was thinking I should probably get to one soon!
Love you, too! And glad that things worked out with the Bravo Battery!
Peace-
Kathi
Hi Kathi
Thanks for the knitting info. I have forwarded it to Tara.
Either take meds or go the healthier alternative. Fish Oil, Co Q10 Magnesium and B Complex Stress tabs.
