Good Morning Boardies
Everyday we suit up and show up for our responsibilites. Sometimes it all gets to be just too much and we go on overload. Those are the times to take a mental health day, a day to cancel the appointments, call in sick, and do something good for yourself, even if it is just sleep.
Waking up in overwhelm is not pleasant. Sometimes we just need to cry. Put on some music that lifts your spirits, call someone who loves you, make some chicken soup or bake some cookies.
Rest, relax and breathe. Get out of God's way. Consciously relax and know that you need to recharge your batteries today. Tomorrow when you wake up it will be different and you'll better face your responsibilites.
Superwoman doesn't live here any more, it's okay not to do anything for one day.
