it's work...

hi rose,
hope all is well. been following the blogging. and as always, learning and growing from everyone's experiences and your knowledge.

it's been super stressful at work with a very difficult manager and changes in company structure. i try to rise above and not let it get to me too much. there are days i want to scream and hit something but i have some great co-workers and we help each other cope.

my question is that we have our district manager coming in this week for a visit and wanted to know how things are going to turn out. will our current manager last with this company? will things get better?

thank you-
kat

Aloha Kat

I have been recommending you move on for, what is it? sigh, years? Anyway to answer this question, the district manager will be fooled by the "difficult" manager into thinking they are wonderful. Things will get better when you move toward improving the way you communicate and be more "zen" in your approach. Be like the bamboo, bend so you don't break.
love always
Rose

I know. And I know I should trust the universe when it comes to finances. But my son is leaving for school this summer and without savings and his father filing bankruptcy recently, I really need my income uninterrupted at least for another 2 years. After that I will look. I mean, I am keeping an eye out for something...just not actively looking. Any recommendations on reading material for improving my communication and being zen? Funny you say that, I call my son "Mr. Zen". Thank you, Rose. Your voice is in my head often...and not in a bad way! LOL!

Aloha Kathi

Trust the Universe as the Source. It's impossible to have any unfulfilled needs or desires. The world, no person, place or situation is the source. Looking for substance in the world is like trying to hold water in your hands. The texture of God flows through you and is unlimited.
Have you read the Tao Te Ching? It's great.
love,
Rose
