don't know what to do

Hi Rose,
The bloodwork and xrays came back. And the bloodwork came back normal. The xrays showed that there is a loose disc in his spine that causes his leg to sit a little to his side when he sits (but he's always had that). The vet doesn't know what's wrong with him. No infection showed up in the bloodwork, and yet he has a fever. The vet says she can't pinpoint what is wrong. He doesn't bark, can barely walk, and acts the way he does when he's scared...very odd for him, he usually thinks he's tough and barks a lot and jumps around all the time. The vet doesn't think it's something he ate because he isn't vomiting and no objects were seen in his stomach from the xray. They did a test on his kidneys, which came back normal. And his intestines seem to be fine too. He's eating and pooping normally. No one knows what is wrong or what to do, which is very frustrating!! Do you think you can pinpoint where the problem is? I'll post his picture again. His name is Bentley 11/23/00.
Love Mel

Aloha Mel

I don't give a hoot what the doctor is saying, Bently has an infection. He needs antibiotics. The gravel like sensation I picked up must be coming from his disc then; I still feel it. He has a sore throat. That's what he is "telling" me.
