Hi Rose,
while meditating yesterday, I saw a large blinking octagon shaped object within the octagon were other shape all blinking and moving,i felt drawn to it then in it. I talked to RS about it he has dream about that very thing and had the same experience. When he asked his friends about noone knows what it is,why drawn into it.

Group Meditation - You Are So Adorable
Hiya my sweethearts and assorted darlings
No one missed anything, I am gathering day and time zone data to organize this event.

New Begginings
Hi Rose,
Well, Brandon finally completed his testing today. I got a little bit of the evaluation from the doctor. She said academically he is on target or above. Maturity, is has some inconsistencies. So it seems rather positive. I just don't believe that holding him back from kindergarten another year would improve his maturity levels. But again, I will haveto wait to hear what the doctor says.

New Beginnings
Another terrible Migraine this weekend. This one lasted from Friday night through Sunday morning. Due to my fear of taking medications because of what happened to me in the hospital, I am reluctant. DO you think I should go ahead and take the prescribed medicines or do this a natural healing kinda way? I don't know why I started getting theses lately.

New Begginings
Thanks Rose. The beautiful thing about my ilistomy is that I no longer feel deformed, I feel lucky to be alive! I want to help people like me. Before my divorce I had so many idea and plans...they went to the side as well. I am going to start by developing a support group at my office. My company is huge and they love charities. This will be a good start. Then I will go from there.

More Buddhism

The First Truth says suffering exists. The Second thruth is that the condition for suffering is attachment.
Attachment has three components, Loba Dosa and Moha. Loba is attachement, greed for example. Dosa is aversion, hatred is the example. And Moha is confusion with ignorance as an example.
Nirvana is the complete absence of loba, dosa and moha.
The Third truth is the cessation of suffering and The Fourth Truth is the Eightfold Path.
The Noble Eightfold Path: Right View, Right Intention, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration.

New Begginings
Thanks for the encouraging words. I will hope for the best....I will not disappear if it doesn't work out. I promise. I just needed to find my self for almost a year. I really do hope this gets transferred. I would like for things to be calm and peaceful. I am trying hard everyday to find peace within my self and I am hoping that it will rub off. Now I just need to get rid of PMS and I will like myself again! LOL What helps PMS? I have tried BC pills but they gave me enormous migraines. Terrible stuff. I want something that is natural.
On a good note. You know I have Crohns and an Iliostomy. I really want to get involved being a counselor in a sense helping others that are facing this type of surgery. I have been approached by my surgeon and my gastro doctor, and they have given people my number to talk. I love it! Is this something I should pursue full time?

My little one has his Kindergarten Readiness test coming up soon. I have so much anxiety, I cannot even tell you! I am trying to think of calm places and breath deep....
I want to fill you in on what is happening. My ex as you know has a very hateful side to him and hasn't seem to let go or even have peace in his heart when it comes to me. He tries to bait me into argument so he will have some sort of legal evidence to present showing I am doing something wrong to the court. I am always on alert and conduct myself in the best manner because he audio tapes me and I really cannot trust him yet. Since May of this year he has been working diligently to build a case against me for custody. Sole Custody. I tried to have matters of custody and child support transferred to the county where I live, because our divorce decree said it should go to the appropriate court where the child resides basically, but it doesn't specify where that court is in our decree. Anyway, even though my ex agreed to that in May he came to court and disagreed. Changed his mind I suppose. After that he filed for Sole Custody to have the case re-opened in his county and heard by the judge who gave me my lunch last year! Urgggg! I filed a motion to have the case transferred to my county because that is what that Judge ordered pretty much. The court date to transfer the case is October 6th at 1:30pm EST. If this doesn't happen I will have to now go to court with my ex for his filing of sole custody on November 3rd 2008. His main reason for doing this is because he says I will not speak with him. I do speak with him but I am unable to have an open conversation with him because he is always looking for a bait for legal purposes. How can anyone have a open conversation if you are taped without your consent. In Virginia it is OK to tape as long as one person is aware. That is all you need.
From all you know, from what I typed, do you think I have a chance to get this case transferred to my county? I am terrified that I will loose my son with my ex's threats for custody...because my ex is capable of so many devious things. I haven't done anything wrong. I am a good mother and I adore my child.

Daughter's New Apartment
My daughter will be moving from her shared apartment in Manhattan ($1250 for 1 tiny room!) to her own 1 bedroom apartment in Jersey City ($950 and in the good part of town, steps from the path train). She agonized over this because she will miss the convenience and energy of the city, although she would be saving money.
Can you see if she made the right move? Will she get into law school? I need your talent and wisdom. Birthdate 09/29/85, TPK.

Some Buddhism
Om mani padme hum
Just before the Buddha's awakening he was meditating seated under a tree. In his austerity he fasted. One day a woman named Sujata came upon him in the woods. She was carrying some rice pudding which she had intended to offer to her diety.
Sujata looked at Buddha and thought he was dead; suddenly he slightly lifted his head. Sujata ran to his side and gently fed him the rice pudding. Doing this she saved his life. At 34 years old he enlightened.
When Buddha had awakened he travelled India with his sangha, a community of monks and nuns. In one village Buddha was offered food by a blacksmith named Chunda, who had also prepared food for the entire sangha. When food was about to be served Buddha told Chunda he wanted to eat the food prepared for the sangha. Chunda complied. The Buddha ate this food and became unintentionally poisoned. As the Buddha lay dying from food poisoning, at the age of 80, his sangha was grieving and angry at Chunda.
The Buddha spoke and said, "In this life I had two meals that I enjoyed the most. One was by Sujata and the other by Chunda."

Prayer Request

Goddesses, remember last semester I fell and fractured my arm in two places....well, two weeks into the new semester "Grace" has injured herself again; not as seriously but I need prayers.
I seriously sprained my right ankle and it's very difficult for me to walk and get around.
Please pray and send reiki for my right ankle to heal quickly,

I think I was so devistated I just removed myself frm everthing that was connected to my ex. I thought I had the world in my hands, but I was being too arrogant. You are right about him fighting me. I say black he says white. He never compromises. I just don't get it.I am thinking positive! I have a wonderful outlook on life now. My youngest is going to Kindergarten today. I will send pictures!

Hi Rose,
Wanted to update you on my situation. I have to agree to have Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation done on our son. This sound so silly and his father will do anything to win something. Our son's test is September 18th 9-2pm. Ho do you feel he will do on this evaluation?

This test will evaluate him and his achievements to begin Kindergarten. If he doesn't pass, they have asked that he be pulled out of kindergarten. What a shame. Really is.

Wanted to update you on my situation. I have to agree to have Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation done on our son. This sound so silly and his father will do anything to win something. Our son's test is September 18th 9-2pm. Ho do you feel he will do on this evaluation?

This test will evaluate him and his achievements to begin Kindergarten. If he doesn't pass, they have asked that he be pulled out of kindergarten. What a shame. Really is.

3,000 Moments
Hiya my Cutesies,
I was talking to a dear friend this morning about Buddhism.
She said "There are 3,000 moments contained in each moment." I'm like WOW how cool is that!
Just reflect on that concept, it's pretty amazing. It's like each moment fans out like a multi-armed goddess.
Then I think okay, that's cool; how about that stuff I hear about unlimited potentiality? Why limit the moment to contain only 3,000 moments? Woah, that's alot to get the mind around!
Unlimited potentiality without attaching to any of it! That'll keep ya busy.

Beginnings
Hello Rose :) hello to all of you...
I'm starting to study for my exams....3 of them in September....but the most important things are: the beginning of my first little work (just to help my parents with money....they spend a lot for my studies), and my first BIG congress of politics.
I started to have an interest in politics just 3 or 4 months ago...I don't know if it will grow...I hope so, but politics is a difficult way to follow! :) My poor Italy....we have such big problems here...
Hawaii, I have always wanted to come....maybe one day :) it would be so much interesting!
and what about you, girls? (we are only girls, right?)

How the heck r u doing? Hope you are enjoying the new school semester :-)
I saw this ad in the paper and was wondering if I should apply ... for the Office Assistant.
Charms Private Lounge requires (female) Waitress,Bartenders, Cooks, Office Assistant & Security Officers,Handyman for Sporting Lounge. Opening Sept 6th. Must have pleasant personality.
Now, I have a feeling it may be a strip club in disguise but I dunno for sure as they are illegal down here (but they still do it).
I placed an ad for myself in the Position Wanted section in another paper seeking an Admin. Assistant job within a Radio Station/Studio/Marketing Environment. I doubt I will get any response ... well serious responses.
My auntie foreign language school thing I'm not sure that's going to work out for me. She's depending on me though. My uncle has no openings, the girl decided to stay.

Elder Meditation

As we start to walk the Red Road and as we develop ourselves as Warriors, a song will come to us. This song is given to each of us from the Great Spirit. Whenever we sing this song, we will receive courage and strength not only for ourselves but if we sing this song for others, it will also help them. The song will give us power and make us feel really good. The song will make us see life in a sacred way. If you don't have your song yet, ask the Creator in prayer if He will give you your song. With the song comes a responsibility - the responsibility to act and conduct oneself as a Warrior according to your song.
Oh my Creator, let me live my song. Let my song honor Your way of life. Let me sing my song each day. At the end of today, let my song tell people who I am. I am a beautiful child of the Creator.
