Aloha and good morning Boardies
I am happy you are enjoying the poll. I know I am.
Someone voted "sometimes" to the question about a belief in a Higher Power. I have been thinking about this answer alot.

Hi Rose,
I am the one who posted the "sometimes". I am struglling right now with what I believe in since my daughter was killed. I was referred to you. I'll write you another post.
And I answered "Not sure if one exists" -- BUT .....
I believe in a GREATER power, but not necessarily a HIGHER power. Does that make sense?
(Probably not -- LOL)
Aloha Kaye
Yes, semantically there is a difference ,greater and higher...
the 3rd mirriam webster definition for greater as an adjective is : remarkable in magnitude, degree, or effectiveness. For "higher" m-w 3rd definition excerpt: most fully developed, or most creative stage -then: exalted in character and: of relatively great importance.
Leave it to a teacher to point out the difference...thank you! I now think I prefer "greater" power...
