Hiya Rose,
I don't know why I didn't listen to you before...you'd always say don't chase them, let them chase you, do "the rules", you were right! (as always :p) The second semester started this week, and as much fun as it was to date a lot, it's very time consuming. School is my priority, can't let anything, not even cute Irish lads, get in the way. Said goodbye to TS (Jan 6/75) yesterday, he liked me more than I liked him, wasn't fair to lead him on. Things are going really well with JF (Oct 14/75), he treats me very well, trying his best to impress, he's not "hot", but from experience, I've learnt that the "hot" ones don't treat me very well. And then there's BG (Jan 7/77), he's gorgeous and very charming..a little too charming. Not sure how much of him is real. Rose, I'm having such a great time over here! Can't believe I was worried back in September, wondering if I'd be lonely the whole time. But you were right, I making lots of new friends! And school is going great too! It took about three months to adjust to living here, now I never want to leave :)

Aloha Mel
It's awlays good when they like you more than you like them. I don't see any harm in maintaining some level of relationship. You are totally right, school is the top and first priority. The "hot" ones usually leave one cold, I agree. It's the internal quality, the level of kindness, compassion, generosity, humanity, humility, honesty, spirituality, respect and intelligence that lasts long after the pretty boy looks are gone.
You are so blessed to be beautiful and intelligent and to be having these amazing opportunities! Please remember a little help to someone less fortunate.
love you
