Good Morning Blog o'licious Ones
I really hated to let go of 2005, I had a sense of "waiting for the other shoe to drop". 2005 was GREAT for me.
So, the first week of 2006 has been like this:
Computer collapse and repair ($$$)
Plumbers punched a hole in my living room wall.
Plumbers return and make the hole bigger and repair pipe.
Wall repairman proposes drying out hole in wall requiring 24 hours of noise for 5 days so bad you need ear plugs to sleep. And, he says "it will be a little warm in the place." How warm? I inquire. Oh, "about 100 degrees" he says casually. At which point I freak out and plan our relocation. This is by far not a done deal.
Next I get a mild case of the flu and have to work all week with it.
SO how does a spiritual midget like myself cope?? Well, first I freak out and THEN I surrender. How does one surrender? It begins with a deep breath, the thought "God You gotta help me", then exhale and lay the burden down at the Feet of the Universe.
I totally trust that I am being taken care of by the Higher Power. The deeper the Trust the more the relief.
We are Blessed and Protected 24/7. What Joy!

ouch! hoping the rest of the year will be a pieace(peace!) of cake. i know mine started off with bills and a very cranky boss, nowhere near your messy sounding situation. i was just reading about surrender and acceptance in a yoga magazine. happy new year, rose!

Thanks for the sympathy LOL
Life has it's speed bumps, I try to handle them as gracefully as possible but do have a tendency to jiggle all over.
Going to Kauai this weekend, hoping that'll change the vibe for the MUCH better.
