Aloha, Rose ~~~
An update!
The NYC Teaching Fellowship contacted me today, and I have an interview with them -- in NYC -- NEXT WEEK! I have an interview with the Philadelphia Fellowship in March, and have been invited to interview with the D.C. Fellowship (but need to find a date that works for both them and me).
Oh my, oh my, oh my !!!

Aloha Kaye
This is SO exciting! Don't forget to breathe and listen silently for the directions.

Yes, I really DO play the accordion. I've played it, in fact, for more than 40 years now. <*yikes*>
It's not just fun, but it's also a great teaching tool. Whenever my students misbehave, I threaten them with the "Wheezing Squeezebox of Doom" ..... and they immediately straighten up! (LOL)
Good Luck,Kaye!!!!
Kaye Cool!
In that case there is an instrument from India called the harmonium that I know you can play. Krishna Das plays it on his cd's. If you haven't heard of it please check it out, it has a wonderful sound. It sits on the floor and the "accordian" is squeezed with the left hand and the keys played with the right.
love
