Buddhist Wisdom

The eye of clarity is so called because it brings sight to everyone.

It enables every single one to enter the uncreated and unconditioned reality, each in his own way.

-Prajnaparamita
Hi Rose,
December has already been interesting for me. Since this month started ,I have had intense dreams. Each night, I have a dream that I am having intense therapy session with someone . It started with people in my life now, then moved to people in my past. I wake up emotional drained. I also lighter like I am getting stuff off my chest.
I feel like i must get this stuff out of my way,to move on.
Like something big is coming
Love,T

Buddhist Wisdom

"What is the benefit of exerting mental effort the wrong way?" -Guon

I don't know about you folks but I sure spend way too much time thinking about things that get me no where or worry me. Thinking in terms of gratitude and positivity boost me so I replace the worrisome thoughts with positive productive solution oriented ones.

The key to freedom from suffering is non-attachment.

New Beginnings

Aloha Rose,

I have had a very hard physically, trying mentally and struggling financial year; however, one thing is for certain, I never waivered in my faith in the Almighty! Do you see a better, happier and more financially stable 2009 for me? Do you see traveling for me? Will love continue to grow for me?

Mahalo and Namaste,
Mobet (dlc 4-22-66)

Wonder

“Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content."
~Helen Keller

Affirmation: Peace and joy are everywhere I am.

Meditation:

Dear God,
Thank You for the love of my friends; a life filled with wonder; the assignments You have given me; and the sense of peace and wonder that fills me. May all the Earth hear Your voice and feel Your love. I confidently let it be. Amen

Unwanted Behavior? - Buddhist Wisdom

You yourself should reprove yourself, should examine yourself.

As a self-guarded monk with guarded self, mindful, you dwell at ease.

Your own self is your own mainstay.

Your own self is your own guide.

Therefore you should watch over yourself--as a trader, a fine steed.

-Dhammapada, 25, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu

Do the Tao Now

"Do the Tao today by noticing an opportunity to defend or explain yourself and choosing not to.

Instead, turn within and sense the texture of misunderstanding, feeling it all the way through your physical system. Just be with what is, instead of opting to ease it by traversing the outer-world path of explaining and defending.
Don't get caught up in the apparent duality of being right or wrong.
Congratulate yourself for making a choice to be in paradoxical unity, a oneness where all of the spectrum simply is.
Silently appreciate the opportunity, along with your willingness to practice your sageness! "

Wayne Dyer

One Moon One Mind

One moon appears everywhere in all bodies of water; the moons in all bodies of water are contained in one moon. This is a metaphor for one mind producing myriad things and myriad things producing one mind. This refers to dream illusions, flowers in the sky, half-seeming, half empty.

Flexibility

“If we are to flourish as creative beings, if we are to grow into Wholeness, we must bloom wherever we are planted.”~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

Affirmation:
I move freely and easily from one task to the next.

Meditation:
Dear God, Life requires me to bend and flow with each moment. When I am centered in Your presence, I find peace and acceptance for myself and for that which is mine to do. From that tranquility, I am able to move freely throughout my day, managing my responsibilities with joy. Thank You, God, for Your spirit within me that molds me and makes me flexible. I surrender and I am grateful.
Amen

Wisdom

Wisdom is at home in the mind of one who has understanding. ~Proverbs 14:33

Affirmation:
The Divine within me guides my path. I know what to think, do and say.

Meditation:

Dear God,
In the quiet of this moment, I become aware of Your wisdom. I now let go of all concerns, fears, worries, and resentments. I am overflowing with beautiful, radiant divine ideas that inspire and direct my life. Thank-You God, for Your wisdom and guidance.

Amen

Your Thoughts Show

Thoughts can feel like they are private and hidden deep inside of you. Yet they have an influence that extends far beyond you. What if others could know what you were thinking? Would it change the content of your thoughts?
In many ways, other people can and do know what you are thinking. Because your thoughts are faithfully expressed by the life you lead.
If you're constantly thinking negative, limiting thoughts, people will be able to tell just by looking at you and your life's conditions. In the same way, when you fill your mind with positive, empowering thoughts, that will be wonderfully obvious.
You might be able to hide the specific details of your thoughts. Yet you cannot hide the true nature of those thoughts.
Your thoughts, whatever they may be, are expressed in every aspect of your life. Continually guide those thoughts to positive places, and your whole world will follow.
-- Ralph Marston

Rely on your Higher Power

I wish I could keep in mind that God can provide, God will provide, and God does provide.-- Marie Gubbels

Relying on God for the guidance to deal with our problems seems much too simple. We forget that God was waiting in the wings for our prayers. Even knowing it, as we do now, hasn't prevented us from looking for help elsewhere, time and again.
We may need to choose, daily, to believe that God can, will, and does provide for our every need. Because most of us haven't had a life-changing spiritual experience, we must decide every day to look to God. Fortunately, a moment of quiet and a tiny prayer is all that we need to do. God is never more than a thought away.

I will practice my reliance on God at every turn of events today. I believe I will receive guidance and knowledge concerning how to proceed next.
