Words of Truth - The Dhammapada
Hiya Goddesses
I will be sharing some of the wonderful things I'm learning in Buddhism class. I hope you enjoy them. So...the Dhammapada are verses of the teachings of Gotama Buddha.
Verse 5 : Hatred is never appeased by hatered in this world; it is appeased by love. This is an eternal Law.
Verse 24: Whosoever is energectic, mindful, pure in conduct, discriminating, self-restrained, right-living, vigilant, his fame steadily increases.
Verse 35: Hard to restrain, unstable is this mind; it flits wherever it lists. Good it is to control the mind. A controlled mind brings happiness.

New Begginings
About your previous comment... I replied but I dont know if you saw it.
I think I was so devistated I just removed myself frm everthing that was connected to my ex. I thought I had the world in my hands, but I was being too arrogant. You are right about him fighting me. I say black he says white. He never compromises. I just don't get it.I am thinking positive! I have a wonderful outlook on life now. My youngest is going to Kindergarten today. I will send pictures!

Wanted to update you on my situation. I have to agree to have Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation done on our son. This sound so silly and his father will do anything to win something. Our son's test is September 18th 9-2pm. Ho do you feel he will do on this evaluation?

This test will evaluate him and his achievements to begin Kindergarten. If he doesn't pass, they have asked that he be pulled out of kindergarten. What a shame. Really is.

Vindication

Again, LC 9-16-61 (Georgia), was ordered to come to NY on Sep 18th. Will he come as ordered or defy it?

3,000 Moments
Hiya my Cutesies,
I was talking to a dear friend this morning about Buddhism.
She said "There are 3,000 moments contained in each moment." I'm like WOW how cool is that!
Just reflect on that concept, it's pretty amazing. It's like each moment fans out like a multi-armed goddess.
Then I think okay, that's cool; how about that stuff I hear about unlimited potentiality? Why limit the moment to contain only 3,000 moments? Woah, that's alot to get the mind around!
Unlimited potentiality without attaching to any of it! That'll keep ya busy.

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.

Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

just one question: Is he suitable for me? .....because I can't even imagine my future without him...but the difference of age is so BIG!!! I don't really know what is waiting for us in the future....

Beginnings
Hello Rose :) hello to all of you...
I'm starting to study for my exams....3 of them in September....but the most important things are: the beginning of my first little work (just to help my parents with money....they spend a lot for my studies), and my first BIG congress of politics.
I started to have an interest in politics just 3 or 4 months ago...I don't know if it will grow...I hope so, but politics is a difficult way to follow! :) My poor Italy....we have such big problems here...
Hawaii, I have always wanted to come....maybe one day :) it would be so much interesting!
and what about you, girls? (we are only girls, right?)

How the heck r u doing? Hope you are enjoying the new school semester :-)
I saw this ad in the paper and was wondering if I should apply ... for the Office Assistant.
Charms Private Lounge requires (female) Waitress,Bartenders, Cooks, Office Assistant & Security Officers,Handyman for Sporting Lounge. Opening Sept 6th. Must have pleasant personality.
Now, I have a feeling it may be a strip club in disguise but I dunno for sure as they are illegal down here (but they still do it).
I placed an ad for myself in the Position Wanted section in another paper seeking an Admin. Assistant job within a Radio Station/Studio/Marketing Environment. I doubt I will get any response ... well serious responses.
My auntie foreign language school thing I'm not sure that's going to work out for me. She's depending on me though. My uncle has no openings, the girl decided to stay.

Elder Meditation
"Everyone has a song. God gives us each a song. That's how we know who we are. Our song tells us who we are."

As we start to walk the Red Road and as we develop ourselves as Warriors, a song will come to us. This song is given to each of us from the Great Spirit. Whenever we sing this song, we will receive courage and strength not only for ourselves but if we sing this song for others, it will also help them. The song will give us power and make us feel really good. The song will make us see life in a sacred way. If you don't have your song yet, ask the Creator in prayer if He will give you your song. With the song comes a responsibility - the responsibility to act and conduct oneself as a Warrior according to your song.
Oh my Creator, let me live my song. Let my song honor Your way of life. Let me sing my song each day. At the end of today, let my song tell people who I am. I am a beautiful child of the Creator.
