Some Hope for 2008?

It's been a financial struggle of late and I'm wondering if it will be better soon. I'm taking on a second job to help pay some bills down and doing some extreme belt tightening. It can be depressing!

Will 2008 be a better year for us financially? Will our income improve to the point where we won't have to worry about every little thing?

Good morning Miss Kat and Sir SL

Enjoyed your post, thank you. Working alot will help him not deal with the grief but after so many intimate losses I truly believe he needs a short stint at grief counseling. Repressing it has already given him a heart attack, which is a wake-up call for sure. Please extend my deepest condolences to him on all of his losses.

Take comfort in knowing the immortality of the soul is real and there is a high probability that reincarnation is real. It appears realistic to know that our deceased loved ones exist in us and they manifest to us through forms of nature. The Ones we miss the most come to us when we silently summon them.

I was just talking this morning about how there seems to be so many endings as the year rolls to a close. In numerology 2007 = 9 and the 9 symbolizes endings, closure.
2008 = 10 = 1. One is the number of new beginnings. Hence now is the time for optimism.

Death comes to everything in its time. The material world is the illusion. Prayer and meditation connect us to the reality which never dies, never ends. We contain the the permanent, it is our "soul". It's our birthright, this immortality. Do not identify with the body, identify with the Divinity. We are particles of Forever.

Whoa...

Aloha, Rose! And happy holidays to everyone here! It has been a tremendously busy and stressful two months here. But now that the holidays are over and my pockets are empty :), it is time for me to re-group and get life reorganized.

I am writing on behalf of a friend who has been going through a tremendously sad and strange holiday season. His initial's are SKJL and birthdate is 04/17/84. It all first started with the death of his nephew MKISL 04/06/06 on Novemeber 27th. He seemed to take the death of such a young child with grace and acceptance. The day of his nephew's funeral, he also attended the funeral of a close friend's mother who he was very close to. That evening, his own father(LKL 05/17/1948) passed away all of a sudden, most likely from the stress of losing the grandson. He had a heart attack.

Another of his close friends lost a beloved family pet that was run over by a car around this time and SKJL just found out this same friend's grandmother passed away yesterday. And then(as if all this wasn't already enough!), he also found out a best friend has an illness that can be life-threatening.

We work together and there has been other deaths among us...my son's very close friend lost his battle to multiple sclerosis at the end of Novemeber and another co-worker's friend was killed in a car accident last week.

He is just wondering what is up with all the death's? We have been joking that God must be pretty bored and needed our loved one's to cheer him up. Why is he surrounded by it this season? I told him it's definitely something that his higher power wants him to examine in his life. He's been trying to keep it together by working ALOT. But I think even he is starting to see things getting to be a bit too much. What is going on? He would like to know why? I want to help him find comfort.

The Universe Within You

The whole of the Universe cannot be seen because of what is called cosmic dust. So the scientists and astronomers discovered that what cannot be seen can be heard.
Our thoughts, bodies and senses are the cosmic dust within us that clouds our view of the Universe, the Divinity within us. So we cannot see it, but we can hear it.
It is said that prayer is asking and meditation is listening. When with thought we hold on to a mantra, a sacred word or sound we can hear the Universe within us.

Reincarnation?

Hope that your finals went well. It must be wonderful to complete the semester and look forward to enjoying the holidays.

What are your thoughts on reincarnation? My mom believes that once people pass on they go to their final destination and aren't "recycled" back into human form. However, there are others that seem to feel that souls may be reborn in human form to continue their development. If so, would that mean it is possible to come back in a non-human form as well? Are past lives something that can be picked up when reading someone? Just wondering...

Hi Rose,
For the past two nights,I have heard my grandmother's voice telling me everything will be ok. With her was little voice agreeing with her saying "Mommy ,everything will be alright." I was so thrilled that my grandmother and my daughter were together.
then I had childhood nightmare,that I am falling in shapes hurling in space. As an adult,I learned to slow things down. Two years ago I slowed things down until I reached the end where a beautiful waterfall,with Mary on river edge,she told me swim across to her,I did not. Last night,I did. Dolphins swam with me. It felt great. I made it to her we hugged. I woke up. I felt joy all day it was great.

Court

Hey Rose,

As usual the father of my child is trying to turn the blame on me ...telling me i am making things worse between us since I am taking court action and that there's no chance for us because of it and that he won't check for me. He bought up kevin yet again.

He's sorry for the things that happened in the past, he knows he's wrong for what happened and he knows he messed up etc. etc. but, yet he says, that after court he will have the last laugh because the judge will not give me what I want, because he has too much stuff comin out of his salary.

I mean is he right about the court thing? The lawyer who i spoke with said she didnt see why a judge would not give me what i was asking, but i didnt get a chance to inform her that he had deductions coming out of his salary, and that would make a difference. I'm waitin for the girl to take the summons order to court, get a court date, serve the summons so I can take it to the lawyer. Nothing happens before the summons is served.

Morning Meditation

My sweet Ones

When I was a child I fervently prayed daily to see God. I'm guessing I wanted to be reassured or rescued. This morning in meditation I experienced That.

I saw the Earth shining blue on a black background that I understood was the rest of the Universe. I saw an invisible gigantic Hand hold the Earth at the bottom and with a flick of the wrist spun the Earth like a top. This was done billions of years ago and the Earth still spins today.
With the whirl of a finger the moon began to circle the Earth and continues to do so. And so it is with the planets in our solar system, the force that moves everything moves us too.
The movement that causes the sun to rise and the moon to set. The movement that causes the Universe to swirl. The movement that animates our minds and bodies. This movement is God.
I saw God today and pray that I can remember this experience.

In Living Color

Hi Rose! Hope you are doing well and in good health...

Please give me your insight for my daughter. She will be sharing a 1 bedroom apartment in Manhattan with another girl from her school, who's name is Annie. Unfortunately that's all I know of her.

Can you see if my daughter will have any difficulties with this living arrangement and will my daughter be successful and happy in her new job as a paralegal trainee? Her initials are TPK, birthdate 9/29/85.

New Moon Abundance

Aloha Rose,
I just wanted to share what I did last month in regards to manifesting some good ol' cash into my life. I am sure you may have heard of writing new moon abundance checks.

New Moon Abundance checks (there are many more links out there in cyberland)

My amount was for $350. I wanted to manifest that amount above what I was receiving as a paycheck from my job. I have my jewelry business and I was pretty sure I could manifest half of that amount if I worked hard at my online shop. The rest I was trusting that the universe would shower me with abundance.

Well, for the first time ever my shop brought in $288 dollars! The most I think I may have done before was about $100(and that was a very good month!). I realize the holidays helped with sales but I am definitely feeling quite blessed that I am being sent this business! Some shops on my site are struggling and there are thousands of jewelry sellers alone, so I'm very grateful.

On top of that, my ex paid some bills for me...$200 worth! That brings me over the amount I wanted to manifest! If anything, writing that check has made me look closer at how abundance can come from unexpected sources and can look different than what we might expect abundance to be. No matter the size or source...it's all a gift from God!

Now if I can just do this with a MAN! lol...

Making Myself Sick

Aloha Rose,

I'm giving myself a big headache and need your help, Rose. I'm in a state of confusion about a relationship I think I'm in and trying to build. I believe in communication but not to the point of smothering or upseting because I don't like confrontations but more out of fear of angry results. I have inquired with you about this before but I am having a hard time because of non-communication. We used to talk all the time and now there is little to none and I don't know what I have done. I don't know what to make of it although I know he has a lot going on. I know we're a good match but will we, scw 11-22-67 and dlc 4-22-66, last or should I move on with my life and just love from afar as I always have? Do you have advice for me about my relationship? I know you said no expectations but this is really hard when I don't know what to do or where to turn? I know you're not a therapist but please provide guidance for me so that I won't be stuck.

Obstacles

Divine Appointment

Dear God,

Before I was born, You knew me. I am here on this planet, at this time, in this life and with these skills according to Your divine appointment. I seek revelation of Your will for me. I accept Your purpose for my life. What do You have for me to do today God? Who would You have me reach out to? During this advent season, I focus on what You are bringing into being.

Reflection

Aloha my Boardies

This morning while in prayer and meditation I received a revealation. Seeing that the world is an out-picturing of my inner reality, if my outer world is not exactly as I wish it to be, the cause is my internal state.
Taking it from there I ask God to remove my defects and my weaknesses. I ask for God to remove anything inside of me that clouds the perfection of my world.
I prayed and I found clarity and peace.
It is not the outer world that is the obstacle to any success but rather my inner world.

Please God, it is Your Power not mine. Please purify my inner state that I may receive all from You that is for my good.

Dear God, Teach me about prayer beyond words and ideas. I do not always know what I want or need. Hold me closely in Your arms that I might experience Your presence. Reveal the prayers in every moment of this day. Thank You. Amen
